Help ISS Conserve Africa’s Wildlife!

In an effort to help protect threatened species such as elephant, rhino, cheetah, chimpanzee, mountain and lowland gorilla, African wild dog, giant sable and even marine species such as turtles, the ISS Team has made a donation to Tusk USA.

Poaching is currently at an all-time high throughout Africa and the elephant and rhino populations are being decimated!  In a one year span, over 35,000 elephants are killed and at this rate the species only has close to 10 years left before extinction!

Tusk USA is at the forefront of efforts to combat the illegal wildlife trade by funding programs that prevent poaching along with public education programs designed to eradicate demand.  With our partners in the field, Tusk is establishing and promoting community-led initiatives linking greater security, infrastructure, healthcare and employment with conservation.  Through responsible tourism and other nature-based enterprises, communities are beginning to see wildlife and their natural heritage as an asset that must be preserved.
