ISS Welcomes Pete Bacol!

Pete Bacol, ISS’s new VP of Strategic Growth, understands this philosophy. In fact, it was the message he preached long before he found his new home.

“It’s about partnerships and communication,” says Pete. “This shotgun-style approach where one size fits all, just doesn’t work. Every retailer has specific needs. If you can’t deliver a custom-tailored solution, the customer will never max their ROI.”

Finding security that is a perfect fit for the retailer is just one piece of the puzzle. Once it is in place, it needs to work, it needs to work well, and someone needs to stand behind it.

“We have the utmost confidence in our products, systems and technicians. The reason is simple. This is all we do. We’re experts, and so is Pete. That’s why he is such a perfect fit,” says Dave Sandoval, President and CEO. “There are plenty of companies selling EAS in the U.S. right now, but for some it’s their side gig. No customer deserves to be a side gig. We eat, sleep, breathe EAS.”

Pete brings over 26 years of EAS expertise to ISS. He got his start back in 1993 as a territory rep with Sensormatic. He rose through the ranks to Director of Sales for the West Region where he served clients for 17 years. Most recently he was VP of Sales for Universal Surveillance Systems.

His time at the top of the ladder taught him many lessons, the most valuable being that partnerships aren’t between two companies, they are between two teams of people with a common goal.

“I think what excites me most is the culture at ISS,” says Pete. “When you call, someone you know picks up the phone. When you send an email, someone you know answers back. I can’t wait to offer that experience to customers.”
